After violent protests and combating, Shia chief Muqtada al-Sadr’s supporters have left Baghdad’s Inexperienced Zone.
The unrest was triggered by his announcement that he’s quitting politics.
Dozens of individuals had been killed when al-Sadr’s supporters battled Iraqi safety forces and rival Shia factions close to authorities buildings and embassies.
Al-Sadr is considered one of Iraq’s most essential figures, wielding huge affect over many elements of public life.
