Fugitive cricket star Sandeep Lamichhane was taken into custody on the Kathmandu airport on Thursday, almost a month after an arrest warrant was issued for rape. “Sandeep Lamichhani has reached Nepal and is in police custody. Our investigation and different authorized processes will proceed,” Kathmandu district police spokesman Dinesh Raj Mainali informed AFP.
